Landing Page Google says is Bridge Page

Folks, there is only one thing to say. AAARRRGGGHHH!!!!
I mean c'mon,its tough enough trying to learn affiliate marketing as it is and now this Bridge thing by Google.

O.K.,deep breath.So ,this is what I have found out about bridge pages for affiliate marketers.Your landing page cannot pull traffic and send it directly to the merchants page. Your landing page must have unique content and have at least another page on your website,I think? What I really think is that Google does not like a banner in the middle of the page and says "click here" with out having any commentary about the product.

What I had to do was go back to my websites and change the structure and add more content description about the product.I have a Dating site with 4 pages and only one of those pages I had to fix.
My remedy was simply put the entire text in the middle of the page with text links embedded in the text box.I used a smaller banner and small photos off to the side.I am hoping this will work cause I would hate to scratch this page and delete it

Are any of you affiliates having this problem about Googles Bridge page? It is dang shameful I had to learn this process with any help from experienced marketers. I guess I have allot more growing pains,but at least I will not make this mistake again.

Affiliate setback Loss of Cpanel means loss of Money

A frustrating week-end for me passed finally,but not till I used every emotion that any person could go through in one week-end.
My hosting company changed servers or something like that and never bothered to e-mail about how I could have problems logging into my CPanel account. Saturday morning I typed in my Cpanel URL I landed on this page "There is a problem with this web site's security certificate".

I Googled this quote and came across page after page with the same issue and I started to read each one. I started with support.Microsoft.com and ended with Joe Shmoe fixitpage.There were different solutions to this same problem.
For example

Check your P/C clock and make sure the year was correct
download certificates to your trusted sites
check the URL and make sure you have the www added ie google.com to http://www.google.com/
The Host upgrade to new server and didn't upgrade the certificates

Guess which one was the answer to my problem? The Host is correct Sir.Yep, and guess who does not work on week-ends? The Host you say? By George I think you got it .
I had to wait till today,Monday to call my host and tell them about my problem. They had me log in to a site called "joinme.com" so my host could do something to my DNS flush cache thingy.Sounds a little naughty don't it?

Happy to say all systems are Go now,but since 7:00 am Saturday morning till Monday afternoon, I was just NUTS about this.
All you fellow Newbie Affiliates out there if you can hear me remember this old saying.

Tweaking,Adjusting,and Creating

Hello everyone,Ha everyone,nobody here except me, but that's cool. I like to read what I write, it helps my thinking process believe it or not.
I went through what I wrote on my Blog from the very first post and I noticed I made a whole lot of errors.You know like misspelled words and incomplete sentences etc,etc.If I am making those kind of errors here imagine what my sites look like.
I checked both my sites and found errors. I guess I taught myself a lesson here with my own blog and and as a newbie I was overwhelmed by the Huge Dark Cloud over me,I forget about the basics you know like how to spell.

Back to affiliate marketing. I had to do some tweaking to my adwords account and what I mean by that is I was kinda paying alot for keywords. I tell fellow newbies this is the hard part cause now you have to observe what is or isn't working.
What I did was I paused my campaign and checked what was happening.I found a few keywords that were getting all the clicks at the same time they were the most expensive. I read somewhere that sometimes if you misspell a keyword like maybe leaving out a letter search engines will still put your impression there.
I am not sure about this but before I do anything like that I want to check it out first. Digging deep into the bowels of my website I did turn up some similar keywords that mean the same thing but cost less.
I had someone tell me that $1.00 per click on those particular keywords are normal due to the high competition. I guess sometimes you got to do what you got to do.

I had a little extra time left so instead of watching T.V. I had an idea for my other website. I logged into my host cpanel and created another page to one of my websites. I got the idea while flipping through Maxbounty.com checking out offers and stumbled across this highly priced cpa lead. My first website is products you have to purchase from another website,in other words I am an affiliate for this company. The products are somewhat expensive,so used the cpa offer I found which is in the loan arena and added a menu called money to lend and built my page customized to the offer. I added content explaing the offer was here to help them purchase products on my website. Now they have somewhere to get a small loan to buy products and I make money on the lead capture from the loan company.
I hope this works and if not at least I can say I already tried that.Right?
Well,thats enough for me tonight maybe one day someone will read my blog and help them to avoid pitfalls I dove into.

My first sale ever!

You can ask Jenny @ Maxbounty.com.Man this is sweet and it feels great. Only $32.00,but I will never forget this sale. My first step and the stairs to success I am hoping it gets easier.

As you remember yesterday I explained how I was setting up my first ad ever with Google AdWords and kinda jawed about how I was setting it up with the keywords and the actual ad lines then paying Google to go live.

This is how it went down.The sale happened about 4:30 am May,3rd 2011. Amazing how you never know when your sale will happen. I got lucky on this one because at that time there were only 3 clicks and my cpc total was just over $3.00 ($3.15 tbe) then the rest of the day went by with a total of 11 clicks and only the one sale oweing Google $19.00 .Not sure why I owe Google so much when I add my clicks it comes out to just under $11.00 maybe I am missing something.

What I did this afternoon around 5pm was add another ad from my website. I went to my Adwords account and created another ad. Only one campaign with two ad groups to share the budget.Each ad group has there own keyword selections and own unique ad. I know I should have created a seperate campaign but my funds are low, wink. Hey ,at least I am trying here I mean isn't it better than just not doing nothing at all? At least I am gaing experience and know how. I call it OBT (on the job training) and how else am I going to learn this stuff.

I want to watch this site for a week or so before I make a move on my other website which is formenting on Google right now.I am sure that tweaking my website is the next thing.What keywords work and which don't,maybe write a different ad to see how that works .
Getting a headache thinking about it. ARGH!

Well thats it for me today, I will be back on here tomarrow for sure.
I know my writing is not professional yet but I'll get there till then excuse my elementarism.(made that word up)
